Zagreb, Croatia, April 9th, 2025BOSQAR INVEST (BOSQAR d.d. – ZSE: BSQR) has been awarded the Gold Award and ‘REGIONAL ESG LEADER 2024’ recognition in the ‘Responsible / Ethical Governance’ category, ‘Large Enterprises’ subcategory.

This recognition was awarded by the PERSPEKTIVE International Economic Forum, following a multi-phase and independent evaluation conducted by an international expert council.

Among 34 candidates from eight Central and Southeastern European countries, BOSQAR INVEST was recognized as a leader in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

"This award reflects the collective effort of our entire team in integrating ESG principles at every level of our operations," said Ivana Turjak-Čebohin, Head of ESG at BOSQAR INVEST.

"We don’t see ESG as merely a framework – at BOSQAR, we view it as a strategic driver of long-term value and resilience. This independent expert recognition is a further affirmation of our commitment to advancing positive change in the region and setting new standards in corporate governance."

In her statement, Majda Tafra Vlahović, chair of the international expert council, highlighted BOSQAR INVEST as a leader in excellence in environmental, social, and governance practices and praised the Group's pioneering ESG strategy, capable of inspiring a wave of positive transformation in the corporate landscape.

The REGIONAL ESG LEADER award ceremony will take place in Slovenia, October 15th-18th, 2025, as part of the World Entrepreneurial Congress.

Group ESG Initiatives

The BOSQAR INVEST group is strongly committed to sustainability and innovation as integral components of corporate governance. In 2022, the group issued the first sustainability-linked corporate bond (SLB) in Croatia, raising EUR 40 million.

Through this initiative, BOSQAR INVEST committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and achieving gender equality in executive teams.

In 2023, the group achieved a 37.8% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to the 2021 baseline. In addition, female representation in management teams increased to 48%.

In February 2025, BOSQAR INVEST joined the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development (HR PSOR), further strengthening its commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
