Bled, Slovenia, September 24, 2026 - IEDC - Bled School of Management, of which BOSQAR INVEST is one of the co-owners, has appointed Dr. Alexandra Vacroux as President of its Management Board, marking the start of a new phase focused on internationalization, institutional partnerships, and a sharper position in European management education. has appointed Dr. Alexandra Vacroux as President of its Management Board, marking the start of a new phase focused on internationalization, institutional partnerships and a sharper position in European management education.
Dr. Vacroux joins a three-member Management Board alongside Viktorija Radojević Mavrič, Vice-President for Transformation and Operations, and Nina Remškar, Vice-President for Strategic Projects. The structure combines a clear mandate for IEDC's international development with dedicated leadership of programs, enrolment, client relationships and school operations. Dr. Vacroux succeeds Dr. Mislav Ante Omazić, who led the IEDC through a successful two-year transition and remains as Dean at the School of Management.
The new leadership team will pursue three connected priorities: developing learning that delivers measurable change for leadership teams and organizations; extending IEDC's reach beyond Slovenia and its immediate region; and building the judgement, ethics and organizational capabilities leaders need in an AI-shaped economy.
The next phase of the IEDC’s development builds on four decades of academic achievement. Founded in 1986 as the first business school of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, IEDC was the region's first business school to secure AMBA accreditation. Its Executive MBA and DBA programs were reaccredited in 2025 for AMBA's maximum five-year period. The school has also built an international network of more than 6,000 alumni across 75 countries and was an initiating force behind CEEMAN, the international management-development association headquartered at IEDC.
IEDC has developed a distinctive educational approach combining executive learning with leadership practice, ethics, personal development, the arts and experiential learning. Its new strategy will build on that foundation through team-based executive education, leadership coaching, educational consulting, hybrid delivery and longer-term partnerships with companies and their leaders.
Dr. Vacroux brings extensive experience in academic leadership, international partnership-building and institutional development. She spent 15 years as Executive Director of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University and is currently Vice President for Strategic Engagement at the Kyiv School of Economics. She is already closely connected to IEDC as a member of the Future 500 research team.

International growth will be supported by the Future 500 Initiative, IEDC's platform for identifying and accelerating high-growth European companies, alongside new partnerships in Europe, Ukraine and Moldova and stronger transatlantic academic and policy relationships. IEDC will also deepen its work with scale-ups, family-owned companies and entrepreneurial businesses while continuing to serve established corporate clients.
