Robin-Ivan Capar

Group Director for Strategic and Corporate Communications, BOSQAR d.d. (BOSQAR INVEST)

Robin-Ivan Capar is a communications and media professional and consultant based in Croatia and Norway.

He currently works as Group Director for Strategic and Corporate Communications at BOSQAR d.d., the holding company of the BOSQAR INVEST group, where he previously held the posts of Head of Communications and Advisor to the Board for Strategic Communication.He also serves as a National Researcher for the European Council on Foreign Relations, where he covers Croatian foreign and EU policy, as well as an advisor to several European TMT companies.

He has provided commentary on EU affairs and the Western Balkans region for various media outlets, including El País, Die Welt, Latvian National Radio, Politiko.al, Atalayar.com, The Moscow Times, and Slobodna Dalmacija. He also covered Scandinavian politics and society for The Local (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway), as well as Croatian news for Croatian media outlets such as Index.hr and Vijesti.hr.

Robin has previously worked as a Media Consultant for RTL Croatia and as a Contributing Editor at Index Publishing, where he held several roles at the most-read Croatian news site, Index.hr.

He obtained a postgraduate specialization in EU Accession and European Project Management from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Zagreb, as well as a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and a Master's degree in Italian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the same university.

In addition, he holds the International Certificate in Investor Relations (ICIR) issued by the UK Investor Relations Society and has completed the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) Academy's foundational programme in investor relations.
